The Liverpool FC 2018-19 Home Kit, produced by New Balance, was a historic release that became synonymous with the club winning its sixth UEFA Champions League title.
Design Concept
The kit followed the "This Means More" campaign, focusing on the club's deep-rooted identity. It was a refined evolution of the previous season's highly popular 125th-anniversary shirt, retaining its successful "retro" aesthetic.
Visual Description
Primary Color: The jersey used a rich, deep shade known as "Red Pepper".
Graphic Pattern: It featured subtle linear jacquard stripes on the front, which were directly inspired by the architecture of the redeveloped Main Stand at Anfield.
Collar: The design reintroduced a traditional tipped two-button polo collar, intended to give the kit a "lifestyle" look suitable for wearing both on and off the pitch.
Accents: All logos, including the iconic Liver Bird crest, the New Balance logo, and the Standard Chartered sponsor, were finished in a contrasting white.
Hillsborough Tribute: To commemorate the 96 victims of the Hillsborough tragedy, the 96 emblem encased by eternal flames was placed at the nape of the neck.
